I find it fascinating how something as simple as this can take a bunch of us back to our childhood and happier days…

Ripped jeans have always been seen as some sort of evil piece of clothing designed to hurt the eyes of adults and “respectable” people. C’mon how many jokes about your ripped denims haven’t you heard from your dad/grandma/uncle? Too many huh? But the truth is, we love our ripped denim, don’t we? It makes us look cool in an understated way, it’s low key rebellious and oh so chic if done correctly. I am, I got all my Christmas presents ready, I decided that today would be my deadline to have every single one of them, and I did it! I’m so happy about that cause I always end up having to run to the store for a last minute gift or wrapping and I hate how many people are there and how long the lines are and it’s all just a big mess, so this year I am so so proud of myself (tip: Amazon Prime can be your new ally this season!) so I’m off to enjoy some Holiday parties this weekend! Make it a good one 🙂 ¡Noooo!

There’s something inherently sexy about a good pair of high waisted jeans and an oversized shirt tucked in, to me it’s the epitome of efortless sensuality, maybe it is the way they highlight our hips and waist, or the losely undone buttons of the shirt, perhaps it is that you can get away with pairing this look with just rolled out the bed hair and comfy shoes, whatever it is about this sort of looks, the point is that they make us feel sexy and confident, now that I think about it, it’s probably that you’re the only one who knows about the lacy undergarments underneath these basic pieces, and that it makes us feel French woman chic.
