DAY 1
This was my sixth time in New York City, I’d never been there in September and oh dear if I fell more in love with the city this time, especially cause this time I had bae by my side, and I got to see a different part of it I hadn’t, that’s what I like about New York, it’s always changing, it’s always a different city and it’s yet so familiar, the smells, the sounds, the rush.
It was bae’s first time in the big apple, so a lot of touristy stuff had to get done, the first day was rather calm as we had just gotten in, I took him to Battery Park and the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, we then crossed the Brooklyn Bridge by foot and explored DUMBO, I’d been dying to go there for a while now, see the park and Jane’s Carousel, afterwards I took him for dinner at Grimaldi’s, a personal favorite, and he loved it.
We ended up walking a bit around Brooklyn and seeing NY’s skyline at night which was beautiful! And then we took the subway to our hotel, tbh we crashed super early that night as we were axhausted from the trip.
Aww I absolutely love this – I’m heading to New York in December and I’m EVEN MORE excited now! That quote at the top is also SO TRUE about London x
